I've devoted much of my own time to my hobbies and pursuing excellence, community, and nature through them. If I could be anywhere in the world it would be outside, doing one of these activities, with some of the people I love.

Running

I started running in High School. I found quick success and at some point along the way I fell in love with it. I continued running into university with the Vancouver Thunderbirds for 3 years. After a series of injuries and inconsistency I took a step away from competitive racing to focus on Triathlon and enjoying the sport. Some of my proudest achievements and closest friends come from the grass and track.

Triathlon

I began triathlon after a close friend of mine found success in it after leaving running behind. It allowed me to be part of a collegiate team and fall back in love with competing. Throughout my short time in the sport I've grown fond of both swiming and cycling. There is something special about the focus and silence required to improve in swimming & I deeply enjoy cycling outdoors, exploring the natural beauty of Vancouver.

Hiking

When out of competition, I spend weekends hiking and climbing. Below are some of my personal favorites, along with brief detail on each trip.
